I'm watching one of my Christmas presents, purchased with my Christmas money, given to me by my parents before they ran away to Florida for 3 months. Even though I spent a moderately pleasant Christmas with Kata and her, um, energetic family, Christmas just hasn't felt right this year. It wasn't even tolerably white. But I've got some nice presents at any rate and money yet to spend. Can't complain. Well, I *can* . . . In fact I just did. But I'll stop now. ^_^

I'm off! I'll be on my way, very shortly, to the ridiculously flat state of Illinois to visit my best friend Kata and spend Christmas with her and her family. This will be a little weird because normally I'd spend it with my parents. But they went to Florida. Lucky them. But lucky me! I'm going to Kata's house! And I'm bringing anime. DiGiCharat and Risky/Safety. They should be perfect because each episode for both shows is generally under 10 minutes. Kata will hopefully be able to watch a few eps here and there between hurling. And they're both incredibly cute anime so I'm hoping they'll cheer her up. ^_^ Gotta go.

Dreamed an excessively long time of things which have no use in the waking world. Watched a movie. Went for a walk. Bought an exercise video. Wrote a poem. Researched for a book.

Time for more constructive, less passive things. Yes time, but no inclination. I'm in a funk. Must claw my way out of it. That'd be constructive, wouldn't it.

Theoretically speaking, Kata's back. However she's not back to the computer. I miss our ICQ nonsense.

Well, I've been horribly negligent to my computer duties, and my Christmas duties, and my housework duties. I guess I'm just not in the mood for anything. I DID accomplish some things this weekend and, as I have Monday off, I hope to accomplish much more. Most of that energy will involve Christmas and housework. Seems like all I want to do on the computer lately is play games. My clique is off to a good start. Looks like this.

Wild Thing I still need to figure out the join section so be patient. That's about it. G'night.

I've been enjoying Record of Lodoss War. Finally I know who Deedlit is. Been tryping to make Christmas ornaments too. Time is rapidly slipping away and I've barely made a dent in the need-to-do-by Christmas list. But enough about me.

Katagillian only has one thing to do before Christmas, and that is to get healthy. Since she's stuck in the hospital yet again I thought I'd post an update of her situation. She's in good spirits, having books and notepads and pens and her Palm Pilot all at hand while she sits in her hospital bed - hungry as all get-up and not allowed to eat a thing. Bummer. The doctor may make arrangements for a nurse to come every day or every other day to their house to give her IV fluids. Anything to avoid going to the hospital again, I guess. And her MOPS (Mothers of Pre-Schoolers) group is making big plans to help her and her family all through this pregnancy if necessary. She won't be around much at all the next few weeks, so let's all keep her and her family in our prayers, and hope that she's over the worst of this really soon.

Been slightly obsessed with cliques today. Trying to figure out all the different ways there might be to make and run such a thing. Since I really suck at frames I'm looking for something simpler. You can see a couple of the badges I've been making over on the right. They don't link to anything. Yet.

I now have Record of Lodoss War to watch. But the gentleman I mentioned who lent it to me, (I haven't met him yet but I think I've seen him before, and he sounds really nice), he's leaving the company at the end of the month. *sucks* Co-worker who know what's going on are encouraging me to drop him my e-mail address or phone number or something. But I'm such a coward. Imminent depression is setting in. I have too many other reasons to be down without adding this to it. Must go for a walk or something.

I've been hunting for the midi version of my blog's current theme, Sound Life. No luck so far. And I've been quite busy, yesterday and today, making cute little badges for the clique I'm still figuring out how to make and what to do with. AND I've been feverishly working on the December design for Echo of the Spheres, which is Long Night Moon and features Sailor Pluto, one of my fav scouts. I think I identify with her because she's so lonely. *sigh* Well, today I spoke via phone with a computer tech at work who was remotely installing a program on my computer. Turns out he's very into anime too. And tomorrow morning he's stopping by to loan me his complete set of Record of Lodoss War. I wonder what he looks like . . . er, um, that is, I wonder what it's like.

So much time, so little to do. Strike that. Reverse it.

So with a helpful tip from Kata and MUCH tinkering my blog is off and running, and rather cute, I think. Now I'm off to play my newest computer game, which isn't all that new but new to me, Caesar III. Rome wouldn't have lasted a year with me in charge. Bwah-ha-ha-ha-HAAAA!

This is it. I took the plunge, following the leads of Katagillian and our mutual friend Sarah, I've started my own little blog. Now if what Sarah says is true, I'll become addicted and faithfully update it. We shall see.
The name, I want to say, if from a song that I love from an anime called Trigun. I'm listening to it right now, having just downloaded it. It's so pretty I've been playing it over and over and haven't gotten tired of it yet. *sigh* So that's what's going on in my life at the moment. Now I REALLY must go to bed.
